TopVu's RFID Ore Tracking System
TopVu’s ore tracking solution is comprised of hardware and software to facilitate ore flow analysis. OreTags are designed to follow the muck through the mine ore circuit. When these OreTags are detected at check points, TopVu’s software can identify origin points, product type, grade control, waste dilution and more.
TopVu uses RFID technology to track ore that has been logged into the software. TopVu’s ore tracking solution helps mines better identify ore from waste, detect the origin of material and validate ore grade estimates.
OreTags are passive RFID tags that are tossed into the ore circuit at specific areas. These expendable tags flow through the ore circuit to track the progress.
Handheld or tablet scanners are used to scan the ore tags and log information such as type of material (ore vs waste), origin, destination and expected delivery.
Checkpoints are set up along the ore circuit. They collect data from the ore tags to provide real-time reports and to better understand the circuits retention time.
TopVu's team provides installation guidance and offers start-up assistance.
