TopVu's Digital Mining Tag Board
Topvu’s smart eTag Board has digitally transformed the mining tagboard, while preserving conventional “check-in/check-out” procedures. Capturing tagboard information presents a unique opportunity to increase operational efficiencies, re-enforce health & safety procedures, and speed up mine rescue activities. In the event if an extend power failure, the physical tagboard provides a visual account for your workforce, which is consistent with current mining procedures.
Workers and visitors are equipped with a passive RFID eTag. When placed on the eTag Board, the controller sends the worker information to TopVu’s REST API web-enabled Q7 software.
eTags use RFID technology to identify workers and level location on the software as well as visually on the board.
eTag Board is a physical tag board with integrated electronics to detect the presence of an employee’s eTag.
eTag Controller digitizes the eTags detected on the eTag Board and transmits the data to the TopVu software.
The physical eTag Board and tags mimic conventional tag-in procedures and provides a backup in case of extended power outages.
TopVu's software keeps historical records on your local database and can create instant reports for mine rescue operations.
eTag Boards come in either grey or white and can be orientated either vertically (60 hooks) or horizontally (69 hooks). For smaller operations the eTag Board mini is available (27 hooks with integral electronics).
When the eTag Board is integrated with location monitors, the system can detect human errors in real-time then notify the workers in real-time so they can take corrective action.
TopVu’s web-enabled enterprise Q7 software can unify multiple sites & properties to simplify data sharing and promote consistency throughout your operations. Real-time or historical tag-in records can be viewed, printed and exported for analysis. Configurable watchdog alerts can generate screen alarms, notification emails, or trigger outputs to external devices.
